At Sana Commerce, we’re looking for a Business Development Representative to be responsible for one of the most crucial parts of our complex sales cycle. The challenge is to create a consistent flow of qualified opportunities, that will ultimately close consistently and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing:

Cold calling? One of the tasks but not your only focus. 

You will learn to generate leads from multiple sources on different techniques, to find the perfect companies and decision-makers. Along with developing your consultative, value, and social selling skills, you manage your own pipeline by building relationships with your prospects and our partners gaining trust to qualify opportunities. You will get individual coaching and learn from your team and colleagues in marketing, field sales, and product.

In short, your responsibilities are:

  • Get the most out of your self-planned discovery calls– create value for businesses while at the same time qualifying the lead. 
  • Conduct discovery calls/consultancy calls
  • Follow up on inbound leads from multiple channels: email, chat, telephone, website, online articles, events and social media.
  • Build and cultivate prospect and partner relationships by initiating communications and consistent follow-up to push opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Make sure our CRM is always up-to-date, to ensure collaboration with other departments and improve our results with data-driven sales.

What you’ll bring:

You like the challenge of working in a start-up-like environment! With an entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills, you service the Sana customers the best you can.

Further, you:

  • Obtained a bachelor’s degree.
  • A (near) native English speaker.
  • Comfortable with outbound engagement activities since this will be the biggest lead generator.
  •  1 year of sales experience: affinity with social, value, and/or consultative selling.
  • Able to win over potential customers in the first conversation. 
  • Motivated to achieve our ambitious goals and rely on teamwork.
  • Comfortable qualifying and deep diving into each customer’s business processes, and challenges and consulting them via phone or online.
