Within Sana we take our internal systems very seriously. We see them as the tools to support our processes, create scalable teams and generate data and insight into what’s happening in the company. But first and foremost, we want to empower our end-users to achieve their goals as effectively and efficiently as possible.  

As Internal Systems Developer you will be working on our internal systems. You will work on our project administration system (Start) and our integrated ticketing system (Sphere).

Start is at the core of our project delivery organization and keeps an overview of all work that is being done for our customers. It tracks customer information and is integrated with our (Dynamics 365) CRM, it keeps an overview of projects and iterations, hours booked and generates invoices for our Finance team.

Sphere is our ticketing system that our support consultants use to communicate and resolve issues with our customers. It uses Azure DevOps as the ticketing engine and consists of a frontend for customers (the Sphere application) and our internal colleagues use DevOps directly for any communication towards the customer.

Besides that, we will be working towards creating an integrated environment for our customers where they will be able to self-serve, for all their needs around product education, support and billing.

We have divided our internal systems into three ecosystems: employee, prospect and customer applications. Your focus will be the customer domain, which includes any internal systems that support our customers or our customer facing teams.

You will be part of the Information Management department which consists of the Business Applications team and the Business Insights team. This position is part of the Business Applications team, which is responsible for developing, deploying, improving, and maintaining our internal application landscape. You will have the opportunity to work closely together with this international team of application experts that work on the various ecosystems.  

You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining our internal systems, like Start and Sphere. 
  • Developing new functionality within these systems based on requirements from the product owner and internal stakeholders. 
  • Deploying new releases to the live environment

Example projects:

  • Building an hours-tracking application (+ Azure DevOps widget) into Start so that our employees can track time directly to projects or tickets. 
  • Create a file sharing functionality in Sphere that leverages SharePoint for storage and that can be toggled on / off for specific customers. 
  • Streamline the sharing of data between Start and Dynamics 365 CRM by further integrating the two systems.

What you bring along:

  • Language: Excellent speaking and writing proficiency in English 
  • Experience: 
  • 3-5+ years experience with back-end programming  (C# / ASP.NET / MVC)
  • 3-5+ years experience with front-end programming (HTML, CSS, JS + jQuery)
  • Experience in building integrations with Dynamics CRM or similar is a plus
  • Database querying using SQL and connecting via Dapper / SQLConnection / EF
  • Experience with cloud computing (Azure)
