Your job

Sana is a SaaS-product which provides our customers with a B2B E-commerce solution, meaning that our customers sell products through a webstore and maintain and develop online relationships with (prospect) buyers. The core of Sana’s value proposition lies in the integration of our software with the ERP of our customers. This integration allows us to use and display real-time data that is relevant to the buyers of our customers, such as sales agreements, up-to-date stock, real-time contextual pricing, etc. Next to the core of our product, we build and provide add-ons which further enrich the experience of the buyer and allow our customers to engage with their buyers in a meaningful way. Sana Commerce Insights (SCI) is a brand-new Sana add-on, designed to provide Sana customers with actionable commercial intelligence, SCI makes the customer data available in one dashboard. It was purpose-built to be user friendly and provides customers with quick and easy access to important store metrics whenever they need them. SCI takes advantage of the ERP integration provided by the Sana product and collects order, sales, customer, and product data from the customers’ ERP system. It combines the ERP data with web analytics data made available by Piwik PRO and the data collected by the Sana software (e.g. related to the webstore setup). All this data is made actionable in a Power BI dashboard that Sana customers can access via the Sana product backend interface. Read more about SCI on our support website via this link.

The Sana Product Team and Information Management Team are responsible for building the roadmap of our B2B analytics tool Sana Commerce Insights. Your challenge will consist of helping us create and implement a vison for this brand-new product. You will be actively involved in the further development of Sana Commerce Insights – where you will be the link between the product team, our customers, customer facing internal teams and the SCI development team. We try to understand our customers’ needs as best as possible, develop the product vision, and set priorities based on technical and stakeholders’ requirements. You will interact with internal stakeholders and customers located all over the world and of various backgrounds (think software developers, customer service, sales, data engineers and analysts). Finally, you will also be heavily involved in building new features together with our development teams to make our customers happy!

  • Creating a roadmap for SCI;
  • Identify customers needs, translating those to data and analytics requirements and conceptualize them into new feature;
  • Pitch plans and ideas internally and externally for gathering input and validation;
  • Mix strategic thinking with technical knowhow to create a roadmap for SCI based on new ideas for features and improvements;
  • Keep up with relevant developments in the Sana product;
  • Keep up with data and analytics trends;
  • Ensure SCI’s quality and continuous feature development;
  • Prioritize user stories based on urgency, stakeholders input and workload of the SCI development team;
  • Attend sprint planning, sprint progress and retrospective meetings to assess the work being done by the SCI development team;
  • Help the SCI development team test SCI thoroughly before a new release.

About us

It all started in 2007, with a pizza and a plan. One evening in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, five people came together over a pizza and set out to create a B2B e-commerce platform unlike any other. And Sana Commerce was born.

Sana Commerce is an e-commerce platform designed to help manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers succeed by fostering lasting relationships with customers who depend on them. How? By making our customers’ SAP or Microsoft Dynamics ERP and e-commerce work as one. This unlocks total customer convenience, reliability without compromise, and constant evolution.

Sana Commerce is currently powered by more than 400 employees. We all have our own expertise and specialties, from sales and marketing to project management and more. But we’re all driven by the same goal: to make our customers’ e-commerce projects a success.

Our core values

So, what does being a part of the Sana team mean? Below is a list of our core values — the most important beliefs we look for in new colleagues and the foundation of our company culture. They guide us in our decision making and they define Sana’s personality as an organization.

  • Entrepreneurial. Sana exists today because a few people had a great idea and brought that idea to life. Sana continues to grow and thrive because that same entrepreneurial spirit is still strong within the company.
  • Result driven. We’re an ambitious group here at Sana, there’s no denying that. We set tough targets and give our all to reach them. Of course, we also know that being result-driven is about more than just KPIs. It’s about creating value, tackling challenges head-on and supporting our colleagues in reaching their goals.
  • Committed. No one said that getting 10,000 active clients by 2030 was going to be easy! We’re in it for the long haul. Through good times and bad, we stick together because we believe in our product, our promise and our people.
  • Team spirit. We love working together, learning from each other, and celebrating success. At Sana, everyone is eager to help their colleagues and success is always a team effort.
  • Learning mindset. Sana Commerce employees will tell you when they know something and when they don’t. If they don’t, they’ll be committed to finding the answer. They are constantly looking to improve and challenge their existing knowledge base

Let new adventures begin!
