Sana is currently expanding into the ANZ market with a growth of almost 100% YOY. We are looking for bright minds with the energy and ambition to help and be part of this growth. The biggest expansion is in our commercial department as we see selling complex integrated eCommerce needs a lot of attention and education to help businesses reach their full potential.

We are an EMEA based tech scale-up with a global presence and 200+ employees. Our sales team has a strong focus on mentorship and value-selling over knocking out as many calls as possible. Very transparent organization with an excellent collaborative culture. Very low employee turnover and frequent growth into other roles within the company!

How this role is different:

Cold calling? One of the tasks but not your only focus. You will develop new business via smart lead sourcing, social selling, collaborative campaigns, and other clever & innovative efforts.

This role goes much further than a traditional SDR/BDR role, you will nurture your self-created opportunities from multiple sources (outbound and later also inbound) into deeply qualified opportunities before you involve Sales Managers to drive it to a close. Within this process you will gain extensive training and guiding on value selling, qualification and product knowledge.

In this role (Sales Development) you will learn our core values through onboarding, training, and coaching. The goal is to eventually have consultative conversations with our prospects and partners to digitally transform their businesses. You will engage with the market, position our solution, understand pains and needs and above all add value to every conversation you have. In later phases you will own specific internal campaigns, attend tradeshows, and develop new ways for Sana to gain market share. Your trajectory depends on experience, skill, and personal development.

You will undergo a personalised onboarding program where you will be expected to complete online courses and connect & collaborate with mentors within the organization to learn on the job. We will build-up your responsibilities as your role in the company progresses with a strong support system in place. Over time you will develop your position at the company as you take on more projects, contribute more ideas, and work both on prospect and partner sides.

We are looking for:

  • You are or will become our business development expert & value-selling Rockstar!
  • Obtained a bachelor’s degree.
  • Effective team-player skills: you can positively contribute to a team environment in which people learn from each other and benefit from each other’s experiences.
  • Product comprehension: you are capable of quickly learning the ins & outs of our software.
  • 1-2 years of sales, business development or commercial experience, preferably in IT or software
  • Affinity with social, value and/or consultative sales is a plus.
  • Comfortable qualifying and deep diving into each customer’s businesses processes, challenges and consulting them via Phone or online
  • Energetic and result/success driven personalities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to come up with creative ideas and initiatives to drive success.
