On February 13th we took another big step toward international expansion by opening two new offices in Vienna and Munich!
Three years ago we started to actively focus on the DACH region, and we’ve had such a positive response that we wanted to show our commitment to the area by opening local offices. The offices are starting out small with four employees, but we expect them to grow rapidly.
Better Service for Our German-Speaking Clients
Why Vienna and Munich? We chose to open offices in these cities because of their excellent central location in the region. Our main goal with opening offices is to provide better local accessibility and service to our clients, so it was important that we could be as close to as many clients as possible. These offices will serve clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
DACH is one of our primary regions thanks to the many manufacturing and wholesale companies in the area that use ERPs our software integrates with, such as SAP and SAP Business One. As you may know, Microsoft recently released the cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, and it’s expected to have a particularly big impact on this market. Sana Commerce is one of the first official e-commerce plugins for Dynamics 365, making DACH the perfect region for us!
We’re looking forward to establishing a strong presence in the local market – so much so that we expect DACH to become our second largest territory by 2018.
Our growth strategy is based on the belief that the best way to grow is to remain close to clients and partners and serve them as locally as possible. A local presence always achieves the best results, and is the clearest path to building strong partnerships and a happy, loyal client base. Currently, our main focus in the region is to invest in hiring local employees in order to better service our clients in their own language.
