OFI (Orkla Food Ingredients) and Sana Commerce are joining forces in a strategic cooperation that will bring integrated e-commerce to OFI’s daughter companies in the Nordics and abroad.
Sana Commerce in the Nordics
Sana has been supporting Nordic businesses with ERP-integrated web stores for several years. The number of Sana clients in the region has been climbing steadily, and we already proudly work with companies like Tikkurila, AVK International and Verdo.
Signing this agreement with OFI marks the beginning of a new phase for Sana in the region. As OFI’s preferred e-commerce vendor, we will empower a number of companies with B2B web stores.
OFI is an industry leader that comprises many companies in the food industry that use a variety of ERP systems. Many of the companies in the OFI receive orders manually, and were looking for a way to speed up and streamline their processes. Sana Commerce a logical choice, given the software’s integration with both Microsoft Dynamics and SAP and our history of supplying integrated e-commerce solutions to food and beverage industry manufacturers, distributors and suppliers.
Integrated E-Commerce for B2B Food and Beverage
Sana works with a wide range of B2B organizations in the food and beverage industry, including Talking Rain, Selecta, and Van Strien. Our strong ties to this industry and proven track record with businesses like those in the OFI was one of the main factors that lead to the collaboration according to Niklas Hansen, Sales Manager Nordics at Sana.
Hansen is excited to be getting on board with OFI. “It’s really a big step for us,” says Hansen. “Working with OFI means spreading the word in the Nordics about Sana and what our software can do to help B2B organizations get the most out of their ERPs. Our goal is to help as many companies as possible empower their employees and provide the best and most modern service to their customers with integrated e-commerce, and this collaboration will help us do that.”
Looking Forward to Success
Sana and OFI have already agreed to two projects. The first will be with Swedish based Kåkå, a leading supplier of baking goods running on Dynamics 365 for Operations. In addition to rolling out a modern e-commerce portal, Sana is also looking forward to advising the organization on how to make the switch to e-commerce.
In addition to Kåkå, Sana will also be launching online sales portals for Marcantonio and Call Caterlink in the UK, both of which run on Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
